After graduating from the University of Florida with a Master’s Degree in Education, Jim taught social studies and coached track and cross country in the Palm Beach County school system for 6 years before entering the mortgage business in 1983.  He worked in the Savings and Loan industry before entering the mortgage brokerage industry in 1986.

 Jim has owned his own mortgage company since 1990, most recently as President of Team Lending Group.  Team Lending Group, a licensed correspondent mortgage lender,  has offices in Lake Worth, Jupiter, Stuart and Jacksonville.

 Jim is also licensed as a real estate instructor.  He has taught numerous real estate licensing courses as well as training programs for real estate agents.  He also owns The Academy of Mortgage Education, a mortgage broker school in Lake Worth, Florida.  He has taught the pre-licensing course for over 8 years.
