MAINTAINING Your Broker's License |
- YOUR FIRST LICENSING PERIOD
- Prior to your first license renewal, FREC requires that ALL broker licensees complete post-license education approved by the state. Sixty (60) classroom hours of post-licensing education is required, comprised of two courses: 30 hours of brokerage management, and 30 hours of investment analysis. If you do not complete this requirement prior to your first renewal expiration date, your broker license will be automatically cancelled.
- 60 HOUR POST-LICENSE COURSE FOR BROKERS - $398.00
- SUBSEQUENT LICENSING PERIODS
- In order to renew your broker's license, you must complete 14 hours of continuing education in each 2 year licensing period PRIOR to submitting your renewal application (don't submit your renewal application, THEN obtain your CE hours! This is a violation of state law!). This 14 hour class includes updates in Florida real estate law, as well as the most current changes in principles and practices of real estate. The course can be taken either online or in the classroom. The classroom course covers the required updates and materials in a two (2) day program with no final exam. (Needless to say, the classroom format offers you an incredible opportunity to learn by participating actively with other experienced licensees by sharing experiences, telling "war-stories," posing hypotheticals, and learning how others would handle similar challenging situations, etc.).
- 14 HOUR CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE- CLASSROOM - $ 49.00
